We are writing to inform you of an important policy change that may affect future shipments from Japan.

Effective August 1, 2025, the United States government will implement a 25% tariff on a wide range of goods imported from Japan. This tariff may apply to certain products supplied by our company.

Most shipments to the U.S. are handled under FCA (Free Carrier) or DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. Under these terms, the importer of record is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees, which are charged directly by the carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx) at the time of importation.

Please be advised that if these charges are not settled and the shipment is refused, the carrier may treat the goods as abandoned.

In such cases:

・The shipment may not be returned to our facility.

・Our company will not be held liable for any loss incurred.

・No return, refund, or reshipment will be accepted as a result of unpaid import duties.

We kindly recommend sharing this notice with your receiving and accounting departments to ensure smooth processing upon delivery.
